Our beloved Marie Justine Pascal was born on Friday, July 9th, 1937, in Paran, Haiti. She was one of four siblings
with a hard-working mother who cared for them deeply and was always dedicated to their success.
As a child, Marie's parents faced financial hardships. Devoted to her family, she sacrificed her education to
contribute to their farm.
Blessed with a loving soul, kind heart and vibrant spirit, Marie had six beautiful children with her beloved Matila
Ceus. She instilled strong values of love, devotion, and faith within them, ensuring they aimed high and led
dedicated lives. Honoring these wishes, many of her children immigrated to the United States, where she finally
reunited with them on February 9th, 2010. There, she embraced her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren
with pride and happiness. Mama invested in seeing all of her family throughout the years; she continued to journey
between Haiti and the United States to share quality time with everyone.
